Invisible Braces

Transform your smile invisibly with experienced dentists

Why go with traditional dental treatment when we have modern equipment and facilities? Straighten your teeth without getting traditional braces with invisible braces or clear aligners. With invisible braces, you wear custom-made, comfortable trays that fit over your teeth. These nearly invisible trays gently shift your teeth into the right position, improving your smile and oral health without the hassle of metal wires and brackets.

TREATMENT PROCEDURE

We scan and take impressions using specialized software, where the future projections for better results and straighter teeth are computed. The milling machine automatically custom-fabricates the set of trays for you.

Wear your aligners for 22 hours a day until the end of your treatment. You will wear each set of aligners for two weeks or as instructed.

At the end of your treatment, wear your retainers to maintain your straight new smile.

See your specialist for checkups every four to six weeks.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long does the clear aligner method take? The full course of treatment could typically be anywhere from 3 months to 2 years. Most patients complete their treatment by using an orthodontic retainer to keep their new smile in place. The treatment time completely depends on the complexity of each case and how often the aligners are worn. However, patients should start to see improvements within the first month of treatment.

Aligners can be used to successfully correct every type of malocclusion: overbite, underbite, crossbite, open bite, and more. It is also a successful treatment plan for crowded teeth or gaps in teeth.

Aligners should be worn for at least 22 hours each day. The longer each tray is worn throughout the day, the quicker the treatment time and the faster the results. If you do not wear your aligners for the prescribed minimum of 22 hours per day, your treatment may not track correctly and the length of treatment may be extended.

Yes, you’ll need to wear a retainer after aligner treatment. Even though aligners move teeth differently from traditional wire braces, the result is still the same. You’ll need to wear retainers after any kind of teeth straightening.

Once you’re done with aligners treatment, you must wear your retainer as directed by our team. Otherwise, your teeth will gradually shift to their original positions. While you may not see your teeth moving at first, the changes become more noticeable over time. For example, your retainer may feel tight and uncomfortable if you haven’t worn it for a few days. Your retainers will fit for as long as you consistently wear them.

Your teeth are partly held in place by the surrounding jawbone. During treatment, your jawbone would have softened or disappeared (a process called resorption) so teeth could move into their final positions. Once you stop wearing aligners, you need to wear orthodontic retainers so your teeth are held in place while new bone is deposited. It takes about 9 to 12 months for your body to build up enough bone to stabilize teeth.

Once your aligners are removed, you’ll need to wear your retainers for at least 22 hours a day, or as recommended by our team. Usually, we suggest that you wear your retainers 22 hours a day for up to six months after your treatment is over. Once this period is over, you’ll only need to wear your retainer at night for another six months. Once 12 months have passed, you should have enough new bone deposited around your teeth to keep them stable. For this reason, you won’t have to wear your retainers as frequently to maintain your beautifully straight smile. Our dentists may recommend only wearing your retainers at night 3 to 5 times a week.

Possibly! Our Doctors are treating a significant number of patients with a combination of braces and Invisible braces— consult our team of experts to determine the best treatment approach for your smile. Since having my braces removed, my teeth have shifted. Can clear aligners treatment fix this?
Yes, clear aligners can treat nearly all common teeth-straightening issues, from simple to complex. Many people who formerly had braces choose aligners treatment as the discrete solution to improve their smile when they find that their teeth have shifted back.

It depends. You can consult our team of specialists about the dental work you’ve had done, including veneers and crowns, and we will evaluate your individual needs.

None! Invisible clear aligners are removable, so there are no food restrictions at all as you have to remove them while eating. With traditional wires and brackets, there’s a long list of foods you, unfortunately, can’t enjoy because they can damage or get stuck in your braces.

1)Clean your aligners nightly while brushing and flossing your teeth.
2)Rinse them with water each time you remove them.
3)Always store aligners in a protective case when not in use to prevent discolouration, bad breath, and bacteria buildup.
4)Add one tablespoon of lemon juice, baking soda and synthetic vinegar to a bowl of drinking to clean and deodorise retainers.

1) Some cleansers are simply too harsh or damaging to use on your aligners. Examples of these include: Denture cleaners mouthwashes, especially those that contain alcohol scented soaps, which can easily start to taste bitter toothpaste
2) You should also refrain from using cleansing soaps that have added dyes (such as blue, red, or green soaps). These can easily stain your aligners, which can make for a long 2 weeks of wearing.
3) Using a coarse bristle brush — not a soft-bristle toothbrush — may also be too harsh on your aligners.

Invisible aligners treatment moves your teeth by applying gentle, constant force, but some people do feel temporary discomfort for the first few days of wearing a new set of aligners. Typically, people describe it as feeling “pressure” and it’s normal — it’s a sign your clear aligners are working and transforming your smile.
