Our teeth cleaning removes plaque and tartar buildup completely. The bacteria in your mouth can lead to the formation of soft deposits called plaque, which, if left untreated, hardens into calculus or tartar. So, remove it with effective teeth cleaning in Noida and maintain good oral hygiene. We use the latest contactless teeth cleaning to provide painless treatment to our patients. Through contactless cleaning, we maintain good workflow consistency and provide both a safe and convenient experience.

TREATMENT PROCEDURE

Using specially designed dental instruments or ultrasonic scalers, we perform teeth cleaning or scaling also called oral prophylaxis to remove bacterial deposits from teeth above and below the gumline.

Polishing is done mechanically using polishing paste to give a smooth clean feel to the teeth which helps prevent further plaque formation.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

It’s a painless procedure and the only sensation that one feels is the process of scraping something off your teeth. Apart from that, there is no pain felt. The discomfort felt during the process is bearable and you can go through it without the need for sedation or anesthesia. It is a simple cleaning and not an invasive procedure. However every patient reacts to the treatment differently so to make them comfortable we use a variety of options, including applying a numbing anesthetic gel before cleaning to help minimize the discomfort.

One of the most common myths is that the procedure weakens your teeth and makes them loose. But this is not true, as scaling removes the deposits of plaque and tartar on teeth, which lead to gum disease. When these elements are removed from the teeth, one may feel the teeth weaken. The teeth are already weakened due to the deposit of plaque and tartar and the cleaning procedure has got nothing to do with it.

Most patients who get their teeth cleaned regularly do not experience sensitivity after the procedure. However, for a person who has not had the teeth cleaned in a while the experience is often different. A person’s teeth may feel more sensitive because the calculus and plaque that covered areas of the teeth are removed and this exposes the areas to hot, cold, solids and liquids. A person may experience tooth sensitivity as the teeth adjust to being fully exposed again. People who have pre-existing sensitivity and a lot of deposit accumulation on the teeth may also have discomfort for a couple of days, but it goes away within a few days with desensitizing paste that we prescribe to our patients.

Patients accumulate tartar at different rates and teeth cleanings should be determined based on that. A person with good oral hygiene can benefit from having the teeth cleaned every six to twelve months. For patients that have periodontal disease, we recommend teeth cleanings every three months. Teeth cleaning is a part of preventative dentistry. Preventative cleanings are a great way to keep your mouth healthy and avoid high-cost dental treatment.

A patient should follow a daily oral hygiene routine. This routine will keep the teeth free from plaque, which is the biofilm that eventually turns into tartar if it is left for a long time. Brushing teeth twice a day and flossing at least once daily will help to maintain cleanliness. A person should also rinse the mouth with water after meals to prevent deposits from sticking to the teeth. Using a fluoridated mouthwash will also help.
